Plan for 10+ hours per week of focused research work. This can be flexibly timed around your other commitments, such as school and other extracurricular activities.
Your mentor will meet with you fortnightly to provide guidance on research methods, and help you overcome challenges in your project. You’ll meet with your Research Manager weekly to review progress and help you achieve your goals.
You choose the problem your research is tackling. Selection is based on demonstrated research capability, not the problem area you choose to study. We encourage you to pursue research that genuinely interests you.
Because this is our first Research Scholars Program, we’re still recruiting your mentors. However, all mentors will meet our rigorous selection criteria: published research experience, demonstrated teaching ability, and successful mentorship track record.
All mentors complete comprehensive background checks and training before working with scholars.
